Yes, check again your PR0 website and you will see changes on your PR if your expecting an increase in PR of your site. I thought Google change already their algorithm. So the formula for PR is still the same. If you have few PR7 and PR6 link the chances that you will get is PR7, PR6, and PR5 is absolutely 100%. Oh BTW, check also your inner pages because its part of this PR update thats happening now.

I thought of this topic to be interesting especially for SEO beginners/newbie on what is the first step after setting up your website.
First you need to be able to expose your website to the major search engines. There are two ways to do these. It’s either let the search engine discover your website via link from other website. Preferably Website with high PageRank. Or submit your website to the search engines.
Google: http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
Yahoo: http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html (You must have a Yahoo account before you can submit your sites URL)
MSN: http://search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx
Inktomi Search Index (powered by MSN): http://submitit.bcentral.com/msnsubmit.htm
Second you need to submit your website to as many as you can web directories out there paid or free. Be sure you submit your site to DMOZ.org and Yahoo.com (free/paid). You can read more on how to submit your website to web directories here . This will increase your link popularity and exposure to Search Engines to crawl your website often.

Last year 2006, there was sudden increase of the popularity of directories because many seo/webmasters think that Directories our good way to get one-way links in very cheap price and some are free. Because of this exploit some directory owners thought of creating many directories to earn from this directories. What happen next is most of the directories today are somewhat useless now because they do not review all the submissions if they are quality websites or not. This depreciate the value of directories. Directories are popular before because they provide useful resources for people searching for quality websites that don’t appear in search engines.
Just a reminder if you want to create your own directory be sure you will be approving links according to the quality of the website not because to increase the volume of links in your directory or they pay for the listings. If you’re looking for directories and directory categories here are some list of quality web directories that you might want to look at http://www.dmoz.org and http://dir.yahoo.com
Directories are usually compose of main category Arts, Business, Computers, Health, Recreation, Regional, Society, Sports, World. Among these categories the popular
sub/categories are travel, Entertainment, sports, internet, and finance links.
You can use site-sift directory script if you’re new with coding and designing your new directory. I recommend Site-Sift because they are seo-friendly and user-friendly as well especially on part of the owner of the directory that are new to directory management.

After the success of DMOZ as the most trusted human edited web directory. Directories are becoming very popular now as a way of getting one-way link which will increase your link popularity and SERP weight. Now there are lot of programs will help you boost your website traffic and SERP rankings. It was couple of years ago when text-link-ads are introduced in the SEO market. Text-link-ads allow you to purchase and sell text links for your website. Another way of getting one way link is through Contextual Links Network which will give you keyword rich anchor text for your website. And also one way to get permanent backlinks. The Search Engine Rankings is becoming very highly competitive. So you must find out how to make your website visible through people and Search Engines Result Page.

Domain Age Factor is one of the important factors in ranking in SERP. Especially in Google Algorithm. That’s why in buying and selling domains they are one of the factors of the price of the domain. The older the domain the better in SERP. This is the real scenario in ranking websites.
How do you check the age of the domain?
You can use simple Whois tool. Here’s a helpful whois tool that let you bypass Visual confirmation. If you type http://domaintools.com/seopinoy.com you will see at the bottom of the page
Creation date: 02 Nov 2006 12:06:49
Expiration date: 02 Nov 2007 12:06:49
How do you check if the domain is dropped or not?
Use the same whois tool and Waybackmachine tool to check on how a website looks like before. This will give you an idea how do you appraise a website for sale. Also if the website contains any illegal websites before.
So if you see that the domain’s Creation date is new it means that the domain is dropped.
Does Google consider 10yr old parked domain same as 10yr old domain running websites?
Nope, but if you will compare 10yr old parked domain over 10yr old domain with
just coming soon on their page, there is no difference really.
Domain Age factor is only consider with the time Google index it and how many indexed pages and the quality of the content it has during the 10 year period. So if you’re buying a website that says 10 year old website better check its history using waybackmachine. But one thing for sure 10yr old domain parked then turned into website is much better than new domains.

Cheap wireless broadband Internet has made life so much easier for laptop users, whether at home or away from home. Once you have gotten used to a wireless connection, you might not want to use wires ever again! But are there any problems with wireless connections?
With the image and file sharing websites growing in popularity more and more, it is hard to live with a dial-up Internet connection. Even if you live in an isolated or remote area, there are ways of getting cheap wireless broadband ISP. You can get broadband via satellite and many mobile companies offer facilities for you to connect via your mobile phone.
As with anything these days, the prices of wireless broadband modems are dropping and you can usually find a decent router for under £50 in most shops. Some cheap broadband deals will come with a free modem when signing up to a contract.
The main problem you can encounter with a wireless connection compared to a wired broadband network is security. You will need to make sure your connection is encrypted to stop other people using your connection. The encypting is not as hard to do as it sounds, and most routers and ISP modems come with instructions of how to do it. If you require any assistance, your broadband internet provider will be able to help you. And guide you through the process.
One of the common mistakes people do when they go wireless is to buy the cheapest available equipment, without doing any research. It is always worth reading broadband internet reviews and guides on wireless equipment before parting with your money. Remember, a reliable connection is more important than saving a few pennies on equipment.

How do you decide which broadband ISP supplier offers the right package for you with so many to choose from and such competitive prices on the market these days for high-speed connections?
Is “Unlimited Broadband” really necessary?
You may not need a huge download limit or a cheap unlimited broadband deal, if you only use your broadband Internet connection to surf the net a little, check your emails, and do a little online shopping. You need to be aware and know exactly what download limit you will require, or you could pay more than you have to simply because of an Internet service provider’s adverting. “Unlimited Broadband” is one of the ISPs favorite advertising lines and some of these so-called “Unlimited” download limits will have a fair usage policy (which is usually not well advertised and hidden amongst the small print). The advertising can make you believe that you need something, when you really don’t need at all.
Why is it important to compare prices?
Broadband suppliers update and change their offers on a regular basis. You mustn’t assume that because you have seen an advertisement somewhere, either on the radio or TV, that it will be the offer you get. You will need to check out the latest deals and prices before signing up to any contracts. Better still, read what other people have to say about their experiences and recommendations on various review sites like: Internet service provider reviews.
You may also consider checking out the latest deals when it’s time to renew your existing contract. There are always special offers on for anyone making the switch to a new one, so there’s a good chance that you could find a better ISP than the one you’ve currently got.
