Recently I saw huge increase in selling links from network of blogs. And few questions went into my mind. Does it really help in SERPs? So what I did was to get in to their program. And after checking few links, I discovered that almost/all of the sites are dropped domains. Basically if you haven’t tried it yet, this is how it works. They will ask you to create your own post with 3 links embededed on the article. Then after that they will post it to their network of blogs. One of the concern that was put up here was will Search Engines does give you penalty for doing such? So I have to find out what is the answer to this question. As of now they don’t give anything yet to the website I’m handling, in terms of ranking in SERPs. They don’t give significant increase in rankings. Although they gave the keywords increase in rankings in SERPs but not that much. I’ll keep you updated on this one. And if these will be successful, you can add it to your SEO Tips 101. Remember this are general blogs. Any topics can be discussed here. I think the main reason why there is still no increase in rankings in SERPs is because it’s either the PR of the site of the link is weak and also the relevant of the link isn’t that closely related.
In the last few weeks on working on the keyword ” SEO Tips ” I have finally rank on top 9. After 3 weeks on working on the keyword atleast 30 mins a day on link buidling I have finally crack on the top positions on keywords SEO Tips . Which is BTW the competition is quite huge 21,700,000
UPDATE June 2010: Top 2 in Google.
So how did it happen? Over the last few weeks of working on clients regarding their keywords I manage to get them on top 10 or close to it.

“Paradise Philippines” is the new contest keywords for the 3rd Philippines SEO contest. This time the price to be given away would be 600k php if converted in dollars approximately $2700. The contest is getting tougher and tougher because of the price their giving away and also the twist of the contest. The theme of the contest is “Bayanihan” which means helping each other. So basically this is a group contest. So you’re not just competing with 1 SEO but with group of Search Engine Optimization specialist.
