Few of my friends told me that their Paypal withdrawal are still in pending status. Usually Paypal processes withdrawal within 24-48 hours. But a friend told me that he tried to withdraw last Saturday January 26, 2008 and up until now the status of his withdrawal is still in pending status. This is a very big problems for our fellow online or Pinoy who do business online. I hope this will be resolved soon.

I told them to email Paypal support but still no reply from their support team.My sister told me that she also experienced the problem. If my memory is still sharp I think they will reply to your email after 1 week or more. I think this is the facility of Paypal that needs to be improve. Although they already allowed Paypal Withdrawal features through Debit Card and lately you can now withdraw Paypal money through your Philippines Bank Account. I’ve already tried to withdraw through my bank account yesterday and I’ll update you on it’s status. FAQ:

Can Paypal reverse pending withdrawals?

No, unless you’ve given them wrong bank account details, they will return the money back to your paypal account minus return fee which is assessed by the bank.

It’s been 3 weeks and my paypal money is still pending?
If you happen to have this problem, you have to call or write an email to Paypal support.

I called paypal customer service just now for more than 10 mins and they told me that the week of january 28 – feb 2 the time frame for the money to be completed in your account is 10 business days. So by Friday, I should be able to see my money in a completed status. I also talked to another customer service and he said that maybe the local bank account has a problem because in my account status in their database, it is already completed…I don’t know who to believe now….

My friend Joe called Paypal few minutes later and Paypal told him that they will include his name on the list of Paypal user who have problems with Paypal withdrawal through UnionBank’s EON card. And Paypal support also told him to check the status of his withdrawal after 2 days if they have corrected the problem. That’s it for now. I’ll update you on these topic once I got another information regarding this topic.

I’ve made my first Paypal Withdrawal through my BDO bank account yesterday. After 24 hours I checked my Paypal Withdrawal status after browsing Tru Green website and the status is still pending. I’m afraid that these withdrawal will also be delayed like others experienced. Anyway, I’ll update you on this problem on this blog. Stay tuned.

Finally the wait is over. Pinoy venturer or Pinoy who conduct business online can now withdraw their Paypal money through their Philippines bank account. Received your money directly to your Philippines savings or checking bank account. Before you can only used Union Bank EON Cyber Account to withdraw your Paypal money or other Visa debit cards, and it’s good to have another option in withdraw your Paypal money. The problem with UnionBank EON Cyber Account is it will took atleast 2 weeks before you can withdraw your money if you don’t have a UnionBank EON cyber account.

This features was first announced here on ebay.ph not on other blogs out there claiming that they’re the first one to announced the news. I think it’s not right that a Pinoy blog start claiming that they’re the only source for this news. They didn’t even link to the original news because they want to justify that they’re one who first announced the news. How long will it take to withdraw my Paypal Philippines money to my bank account in the Philippines?

Usually it will take 3 business days or less. But for some banks, I’ve heard 5 business days max.

In my experienced with BDO here’s my own timetable;

If you withdraw your money on Monday, expect your money will arrived on Thursday or Friday. But in case you withdraw on Thursday expect it on Monday. If you will withdraw on Wednesday it will arrived on Monday as well. But if you will do it on Friday, I expect them to arrive on Tuesday. Note that if there will be a holiday in the Philippines or US between or the date of your expected date, expect that there will be delay of 1 day.

If you experienced delay of more than a week, there’s something wrong with your Paypal account or Bank. Know more about it on my Paypal Withdrawal Pending post.

I haven’t update this blog regularly because I’m quite busy with my current online venture. And I’m thinking of shutting down this blog in the next few months or so. Meaning I wouldn’t update anymore but the post will still remain in the archive because I want the information stored here to be available to my readers. I might be shifting into a personal blog rather than an SEO blog because I shifted career from SEO to be a webmaster and blogger. I’ve already bought few domains already.

Since I’m not updated on what is happening to the search engine community I read few search engine related blogs after searching for nursing home in Europe because my sister told me to look for it. She wants to work in a nursing home this year. Anyway, going back to the topic regarding Wikia the new search engine, Jimmy Wales co-founder of Wikipedia has created a new search engine like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Since it’s new I’m expecting some flaws or bugs on the program.

I’ve tried to experiment on how their search algorithm works. And I’ve found out after searching numerous keywords and I compare it to Google, Google still produces better results. Here’s an example why Google is still much better than Wikia. Since I’m a fan of Aaron’s Blog I’ve tried to search for the keywords “SEO Book”. Here’s a screenshot how it looks like:

The results of the search query returns seobook.com “buy now” page on top 1. I don’t think it’s a good search results if you don’t return the home page of SEOBook.com in a search results. I think because there are lot of affiliate links linking to that specific page, it returns the “buy now” page of SEOBook.com. That my own theory and Wikia staff must work on these.

It’s been quite a while now since I last posted a blog post here. I’ve been busy in the last 2 months because my current venture keeping me busy and require lots of time. Currently I’m studying PHP programming language because as an individual whose primary income comes from online earnings I need to be more familiar with the most popular programming language in the internet.

This year is very critical for me in terms of life, and career. I don’t want to discuss further on why this year is critical but I’ll let it happen first before I will post it here. If you’re asking what happen to my SEO career? Well, I have some offers from old clients to be their SEO specialist but right now I’m not interested. I’m applying my SEO skills on my blogging and few websites that I’m developing since last year. I’ll probably start declining the offers I will received in the next 2 years because I want to concentrate on my blogs and websites because I believe this is my destiny. I need to have websites that I can monetize in the next 10-30 years to provide me a stable income.
