Domain Registration Getting Expensive

While browsing the internet, looking for SEO Los Angeles website, I received an email from one of the domain registrar company that I’m using to register my website. And I thought their only the one increased their prices. But I’m wrong, all of the domain registrar company that I’m using to register my website increases their price as well. Now I regret that I didn’t renew some of my domains earlier when the domains only cost max of $7.95. For webmaster who have 5-10 blogs this is not a problem but for domain owner like me who have atleast 100 domains on their portfolio that would cost me atleast $200/year. But that doesn’t stop there because I’m planning to buy another 100+ domain next year and on the later year.

What will happen next? I guess this might be a trend in the next few years. So if ever I’ve experienced another price increase in the next few months or years, I would probably renew all my domains maybe extend it for 5-10 years. Also I noticed that a .info increased it’s registration price as well. Luckily I’m not a fan of .info TLD. Maybe this implementation happened because sometimes there are lot of spammers using a .info domain to spam the internet and make money out of it. I guess it’s a good move, agree?
