Future of internet
Have you heard of localization in the internet? In the next coming years this is how I predicted websites and internet would be. I believe that people would love to visit sites from their local states, county and city. Also ICANN would also release domain extension specifically for a certain city.
Lets have an example why internet user would prefer this. If for example I would like to list the death of someone through free obituary search I would prefer to add it to our local websites because people close to that person can easily know about his death.
Personally, If I would like to travel to a certain places, I would look for a website that is localized because I would get the specific information I like. The bottomline, localized website will surely give you more specific information you’re looking for.
