How hard to be an SEO?
I know few people found SEO to be an easy job. I was at the same position as well that I found this job very easy. But after working with a recreational and sports websites
company I found my job not that easy that give me headache and probably hair loss because of the stress and pressure I’m getting. That makes me think to look for hair replacement if that situation will occur.
In our company is compose of 3 dept. The Info team, Shop Team, and Marketing Team. Basically I’m on the Marketing team which is in charge of getting traffic for the website and rankings from SERP. As time goes by I’ve noticed that the only thing that our team will be recognized is when people visit our website often and to do these you must have good advertising and Search Engine Rankings.
As we all know if you want good advertising you must give something in return(money). But what if you don’t have that money? And your boss wants you to do miracles?
It was really hard for me to accept that we’re getting blame sometimes that we’re not doing our job. But what do you expect from free advertising?(banner and link exchange).
One more thing that made SEO not an easy job is when you couldn’t rank or maintain the website for a certain keywords. If you’re an SEO you already know that SERP rankings is ain’t that easy to manipulate. The only thing that you could do is do your best and leave the rest to the Search Engines. Some people are blaming an SEO when suddenly the rankings of a website drop or still not ranking. What would you do when this thing happens? You cannot blame this people for what they doing instead of getting back to that person and try to flame them because your frustrated just try to be patient and
laugh at them for their ignorance that they don’t know what they’re talking about. As an SEO we all know that in order for a website to rank we have to consider lots of factors. And Search Engine Optimization is a fast transition industry. And no one can guarantee
that a website will rank for a long time in SERPs. But what you can only do is just try and let the Search Engines will decide your websites rankings.
