Paradise Philippines
“Paradise Philippines” is the new contest keywords for the 3rd Philippines SEO contest. This time the price to be given away would be 600k php if converted in dollars approximately $2700. The contest is getting tougher and tougher because of the price their giving away and also the twist of the contest. The theme of the contest is “Bayanihan” which means helping each other. So basically this is a group contest. So you’re not just competing with 1 SEO but with group of Search Engine Optimization specialist. I think this will test individual if they will go for a group or just do it individually. As for me, I’ve recently bought my Paradise Philippines domain. I’ve actually almost got the paradise-philippines.com but in the last second of my registration Namecheap suddenly deny my registration and notify me that the domain isn’t available. Anyway, I think I still have a good domain http://www.paradise-philippines.info and http://www.paradisephilippines.info. I’ll try to develop this domain and hopefully will have enough time to SEO it. Jobs and other venture keeping me busy. Although it’s a lame excuses, but I’ll try my best to spend time on it till the end of the contest.
I think the main idea here is to help yourself learn something new to your SEO techniques. I think that’s the greatest price you can have rather than the price money. Because in the long run if you know what you’re doing and become one of the finest SEO in town you can help run your own website and SEO it then make it as your milking cow. I just hope I could learn more on this SEO contest and make it as a stepping stone for a much higher achievement. Actually on the last SEO contest which is the first time I’ve joined an SEO contest I’ve tried to experiment on different techniques during the contest period. I have good results in Yahoo(top 9) and Google(top 20) but in MSN I’ve only managed to be on top 50+. Before I was very successful in MSN but on the last SEO Contest there is something that I still can’t figured out. But this time hopefully, I’ll try to minimize my mistakes and put lot of time on it. (two fingers crossed)
