Paypal Withdrawal Still Pending
Few of my friends told me that their Paypal withdrawal are still in pending status. Usually Paypal processes withdrawal within 24-48 hours. But a friend told me that he tried to withdraw last Saturday January 26, 2008 and up until now the status of his withdrawal is still in pending status. This is a very big problems for our fellow online venturer or Pinoy who do business online. I hope this will be resolved soon.
I told them to email Paypal support but still no reply from their support team. I was browsing a American Home Shield website when my sister told me that she also experienced the problem. If my memory is still sharp I think they will reply to your email after 1 week or more. I think this is the facility of Paypal that needs to be improve. Although they already allowed Paypal Withdrawal features through Debit Card and lately you can now withdraw Paypal money through your Philippines Bank Account. I’ve already tried to withdraw through my bank account yesterday and I’ll update you on it’s status.
UPDATE:
Here’s a quote from my sister’s email regarding her Paypal to UnionBank EON withdrawal
I called paypal customer service just now for more than 10 mins and they told me that the week of january 28 - feb 2 the time frame for the money to be completed in your account is 10 business days. So by Friday, I should be able to see my money in a completed status. I also talked to another customer service and he said that maybe the local bank account has a problem because in my account status in their database, it is already completed…I don’t know who to believe now….
UPDATE February 08, 2008:
If your Paypal withdrawal through UnionBank’s EON card is still in pending process better call Paypal customer service through Skype:
Here are the details you should need.
Hours of service:
9:00 SGT to 18:00 SGT from Monday to Friday
For general questions, please call:
(65)-6510-4650 (a Singapore telephone number)
My friend Joe called Paypal few minutes later and Paypal told him that they will include his name on the list of Paypal user who have problems with Paypal withdrawal through UnionBank’s EON card. And Paypal support also told him to check the status of his withdrawal after 2 days if they have corrected the problem. That’s it for now. I’ll update you on these topic once I got another information regarding this topic.

I have made a comment on this site with my particulars:

Maybe if more people could congregate and comment on one site, we could see how much of a problem this really is.

Hi!
I just called paypal regarding my problem (pending since Jan 27) and the agent (Dustin or Justin) told me that I should contact the bank since they automatically forward the money to the bank once we initiate the transaction in paypal.
Advised that I should wait until Tuesday for the transaction to be completed.

[…] Some members initially claimed that the problem lies with UnionBank but there are increasing reports that more and more users worldwide are also experiencing delay in the processing of withdrawal transactions. […]

I think everybody experienced this problem right now.(Problem withdrawing in their EON acc). The only thing that we can do is to wait and hopefully everything will be sorted out soon. Try withdrawing right now through your local bank account (get rid off union bank as of now). I’ve tried to withdraw the money through my BDO account last week and when I checked my balance it now appears on my bank account.

calling the UNION BANK Branch near my place is useless. They don’t even know what paypal is or at least just know paypal exist but doesn’t know how it works. Duh! my withdrawal is still pending .. (huhuhu)

It’s already Wednesday and nothing still! My family is already starving (me at least). I called unionbank yesterday and was advised to wait for 10 days. That means I have to wait ’till friday. I already e-mailed unionbank THRICE and no response.

Hi!
Just got an e-mail from paypal…
Dear Ryan Dawn Umadhay,
Due to a technical issue we have experienced starting on January 20, 2008 we have been unable to successfully withdraw funds to your credit card. As we work through resolving this issue you may experience one of the following scenarios:
* Pending status - if your withdrawal is ‘pending’ then we are still working to resolve the issue and complete your request. We are treating this issue with high priority and will update you as soon as it is resolved.
* Completed status - if your withdrawal is ‘completed’ then we have processed your request and the funds will post to your credit card in 5 to 7 days
You should not see any delays on future withdrawals.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we appreciate your business.
Yours sincerely,
PayPal

Mine is already completed thank God!

Mine’s still pending. I called paypal last night and all they said that this is a known issue that’s been happening to some paypal users due to some unknown technical problems which they could hardly explain. They told me to wait for 14 days. I also asked them if there’s a way to reverse the process and cancel the withdrawal but unfortunately, it ain’t possible. All we have to do is wait! Expect the worst and hope for the best!

fej, it seems that they’ve processed few withdrawals only.Anyway, I’m pretty sure Paypal is now fixing this matters according to what they’re responding to their users. Let’s just hope that everything will be processed soon because some people I know are expecting this money asap because they need to feed their children and their family.

ako mabilis lang marvs! mga one week lang, i already received my money thru my eon card. tip lang, instead of selecting use my card sa paypal when you try to withdraw, use bank account instead and put in the account number of your eon card. mas fast yung transaction if that’s what you’ll select (based on personal experience) - sa mga forumns about paypal din, ganun din experience nila.

Hi Mimi, glad to see you again in my blog. Actually there is a technical problem in Paypal last 3 weeks that is why they can’t withdraw their money through their EON debit card. But this week they have resolved it already, and I think there would be no more problems in withdrawing your money through your EON debit card. Looking forward to see more post on your blogs as well. Regards

I am now having a problem with regards to my paypal withrawal. I withdrew 120 dollars last March 1 and until now the money is not yet deposited in my local bank account which is BDO. It’s almost 13 days since my paypal withrawal and the money is still not deposited in the bank. Is this an alarming situation for all paypal users?
